From Cabinet Maker to COO
For 20 years, Bryant Jones was in cabinetry—he grew a local cabinet shop from $250K to $10M in revenue and knew every inch of the trade. But despite the success, he wasn’t satisfied. The work didn’t energize him anymore, and he knew he wanted something different.
That clarity came when a job ad for Pro Moto Billet crossed his desk—a chance to combine his business skill with a personal passion for motorsports. But making a leap that big wasn’t something he took lightly. He needed someone to help him sort it out—and that’s what led him to coaching.
“I knew I needed a coach to help with clarity,” Bryant said. After attending an event hosted by Allison Dunn, he started one-on-one coaching at Deliberate Directions. That evolved into a seat at the Whetstone Board of Advisors, where he found the support he needed to step into a new career—and a bigger role.

Working Through a Big Transition
At first, Whetstone gave Bryant a space to weigh his options. He had just been offered a promotion—but his heart wasn’t in it. He brought his dilemma to the group.
“I brought those concerns and questions to the board of advisors,” he said. “We worked through those, and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made.”
He left his old industry, took the role at Pro Moto Billet, and began the next chapter—this time, as a COO in a business he loved.
Advice, Accountability, and Real Talk
What makes Whetstone work for Bryant isn’t just the advice—it’s the accountability. He meets with a trusted group every other week, gaining new ideas, honest feedback, and a reset from the grind of operations.
“It’s the ability to get away from the grind and reconnect and realize that all the problems I’m dealing with are similar,” he said. “Everyone else has those same issues.”
He also values the chance to give back. “Most people are trying to get over a million or $2 million in sales,” he said. “So it’s gratifying to share my experience as I pushed that $10 million mark.”
A Bold Goal—and a Push to Grow
Bryant isn’t just maintaining—he’s scaling. His goal is to 10X Pro Moto Billet in ten years. That means growing revenue, production, and team capacity far beyond where it was when he joined in 2019.
The production team is ready, and Bryant’s now focused on expanding visibility. Networking doesn’t come naturally to him, so he brought the challenge to his Whetstone group.
“I got direction and things I should do differently,” he said. “So, I’ll try and go from there.”
Staying Sharp at a Higher Level
Bryant describes Whetstone as “accountable, realigning, and worth it.” It helps him stay clear, challenged, and on track—especially as the business grows.
“The farther you step into a higher performance level,” he said, “the more help you need to keep that going.”
Through coaching and peer advisory support, Bryant has made bold decisions, surrounded himself with like-minded leaders, and stayed committed to his long-term vision—all while doing work he genuinely enjoys.
