A Legacy in Transition
Frasier Transport was founded in 1995 by Mike and Dee Frasier with just 12 trucks and a clear mission: serve local customers with a personal touch. Over the years, the company grew steadily, expanding to 22 trucks while maintaining its close-knit, family-oriented culture.
In 2020, it was time for a generational shift. Their son, Ryan Frasier, stepped into the role of President. While he had grown up around the business, leading it was a new challenge—especially with a younger management team and growing ambitions.
To support the transition, Frasier Transport leaned into a resource they had trusted for years: executive business coach Allison Dunn.

Adjusting to New Roles
Allison had first worked with the company in 2013, helping Mike and Dee with staff development and leadership support. As they prepared to hand off operations, Allison helped them define their new roles outside the business—and coached Ryan on how to lead with clarity.
“She really does understand our business,” said Ryan Frasier. “She takes a vested interest in it.”
As the business transitioned, Allison’s focus shifted to helping the younger leadership team stabilize internal systems, define responsibilities, and manage evolving communication dynamics. Whether it was guiding Ryan through planning classes or helping the company adopt new hiring tools, Allison brought outside perspective without disrupting company culture.
Building Trust and Planning for Growth
As the Frasier team adjusted to change, Allison helped develop tools to support smoother collaboration—DISC profiles, leadership frameworks, and business planning tools that worked for both structured and flexible thinkers on the team.
Trust was key. “When Allison suggested adding new roles or growth strategies, we were willing to try it because we trusted her,” Ryan shared.
Together, they laid the foundation for the next phase of growth: hiring three new drivers and purchasing three new trucks. Even with challenges like supply chain delays and cost inflation, the team feels more equipped to tackle what’s next.
Making Coaching Fit the Business
One reason coaching works for Frasier Transport? It’s practical. Allison travels to their office in Nampa to run on-site training and coaching sessions—saving the team hours of travel and keeping momentum strong.
Regular coaching meetings with Ryan and his leadership team help resolve roadblocks quickly, reinforce planning discipline, and keep the business aligned.
Leading With Stability and Vision
Today, Frasier Transport continues to grow, driven by a strong leadership team and grounded in the company’s original values. For Ryan, Allison provides more than strategy—she’s a guide through complexity. She’s “a well-spoken professional that is someone to look up to—a role model.”
As Frasier Transport prepares for its next phase, they know they’re not doing it alone.
